The rights and obligations shall be common to all overseas members of the Society
except as otherwise stated.
1. Enjoy priority in attending the academic activities organized
by CMES in China at discount rates;
2. Enjoy priority in receiving Chinese Journal of Mechanical
Engineering (English version), activity information, and academic periodicals (with
only abstract in English, according to your technical interests).
3. To be assisted in arranging tours and engaging in academic
or economic activities in China.
4. Have the rights in making suggestion and criticism concerning
the society affairs.
5. Accept the assignments entrusted by CMES.
6. Have the obligation to provide necessary assistance to
CMES' activities in the member's country.
7. Pay the membership dues 100 USD(Or Equal HKD)/year as
a senior member, 80USD(Or Equal HKD)/year for ordinary member.
In addition to those stated above, the company member may
request the priority in providing technical consulting services and conducting trading
courses.
